Lukas Alexander is a Ph.D. Student at Washington University in St. Louis studying American politics and methodology.  He is also a Graduate Research Affiliate of the Weidenbaum Center on the Economy, Government, and Public Policy.

His scholarship focuses on the American presidency, interbranch relations, and rural politics.  Drawing on both institutional and behavioral frameworks, Lukas utilizes a range of methodological approaches to advance his research agenda.
